Pants Torii Pants A torii gate, a mountain and a field of spider lilies running the full length of the leg, placed so the composition survives the seam.

Jacket Samurai Jacket A panoramic scene built around the jacket's construction. The artwork runs straight across the zip, so the two halves only line up when it is closed.
T-shirt Okiro Tee, two colourways The same chest script on black and on bone. A run can carry one design across two garments without redrawing anything.
Hoodie Celestial Hoodie An angel and a long trail of stars worked across the full back, fine enough to hold its detail close up and still read from across a room.
T-shirt Crane Tee One crane in flight, placed small and high on the chest. The whole piece is a single motif and a great deal of restraint.
T-shirt Blossom Wash Tee Cherry blossom carried over the shoulder seam, with a character on each sleeve, on a stonewashed body that takes thread differently from flat cotton.
Hoodie Character Panel Hoodie A full-colour panel on a navy hoodie, built up colour by colour. Commissioned artwork, redrawn for thread before a stitch was made.

It depends on the garment, the size of the embroidery and the quantity — a small chest logo on fifty pieces is a very different job from a full back panel on twelve.
